Welcome back to the Wardrobe Project and my strategy to a zero-waste closet clean out. This is the first step, and what I consider a fun, effective method, to learning to live with less and sharpen your style. It begins with making your ultimate packing list. Watch the IGTV video (link here) to learn why and what I would pack if I could go on a trip now. And stay tuned for next steps and deeper dives! xx Jennifer

Possibly a gross question, but how the heck does anyone wear a jacket or sweater over a tank or slip dress without leaving marks or body eau on the armpits? Even if your pits stay toasty dry, I’ve seen perfume gunk up fabric that has to be dry cleaned. On a trip, sure, you endure until you get home. But if this is your perfect wardrobe at home, are you constantly sending pieces out to the cleaner or…?
Reality cannot be ignored. I can see a blazer being an issue in this case, so perhaps a looser cardigan, sweater makes the most sense. I also use the dry cleaner as little as possible. Also you could opt for a slip skirt and pair it with a nice top or t-shirt to ensure you don’t have to deal with stain issues.
