It might seem counterintuitive to start posting about Fall on the hottest day of the year (so far) here in NY, but I am because people are apparently shopping, things are selling out, and I owe it to you to keep you up-to-date. So, I have started to add a fall edit of favorites in the Shop. Right now, it is a very succinct edit; that’s because it is an edit of items I would willingly, realistically spend money on. It is not a lot of random stuff to encourage you to shop for things you don’t need. Each item is worth it: the Khaite boots in a rich brown (I have black), The Row belt that sold out last season (which I really wanted), a couple of beautiful printed dresses. There must be a lot of pent up demand because items are flying out. (But if there is something you really want and it’s sold out, add it to your wishlist, or check back regularly to see if there are returns as there often are.) I will continue to add pieces when I find them.
That being said, I encourage you to be wary of being too impulsive. If you haven’t gone through the fall wardrobe you already have, now is a good time so you can take stock (I always forget a couple of pieces I have), and start to get an idea of what you might need. Plus, I will start to share my fall wish list/wardrobe, which basically revolves around pants. Stay tuned.

I love dealing with The Row in LA. Great service, prompt response to questions and honest opinion.

Was wondering if any of your readers have any experience with Agnona pants, such as fit and comfort. Specifically looking at a pair of navy flannel straight leg. Thank you

I had ordered both Row belts, brown and black. Underwhelmed. The leather was very thin and flimsy. To me, not their usual quality. And thankfully Jennifer, you have taught me to be very picky about what I buy….

That is disappointing, but thanks for the heads up. I still haven’t found a replacement idea…if you do please share!
