I love the profile on Marie-France Cohen in the new T Magazine Men’s Style issue. A woman with exquisite taste, she is the founder of both the French children’s line Bonpoint and the chic and slightly cheeky home decor store Merci–both places where I have spent more money than I should when in Paris.
Her latest venture is a new decor store and collection called Démodé that will sell online and at a pop up shop on Rue de Grenelle. But what I love most about the story is how Marie-France has created a home where her children and now grandchildren (and an Afghani refugee as well) are always welcome. Her warm, elegant interiors suit the idea of having lots of family and friends around. It’s an idea I’d love to emulate someday down the road.
