I haven’t bought a handbag in eons and with my closet clean out, I edited down to a few essentials so am thinking about buying something new for fall. I would love to see these bags, from Au Depart, in person, which I discovered on Paris Vogue’s site. The company was founded in 1874, eventually shuttered and was relaunched in 2019. It feels very similar to Goyard, but the shapes are more modern. They are an investment, but also perhaps a more timeless alternative to some of the latest Bottega bags and others. The search is on.
