**It’s really hard to decide what kind of post makes sense right now, just taking it day by day.
One thing I have been thinking about is color, because it can play such an emotional role in our lives–it can be soothing, energizing, make one feel beautiful or sexy. My favorite color is red–specifically a very clear red with orange undertones. I love to wear a pop of red–nail polish, lipstick, I have a few pairs of red Celine shoes, and I am constantly on the lookout for a red top, but getting the right shade is harder than you’d think. No matter, just looking at the color makes me happy. What’s your happy color?

I’m new to your blog and absolutely love it! I love all your posts, they make me feel like life is still normal, even if it’s just for a bit. I’m with you, I love red but finding the right red can be tricky. Those Celine sandals are divine. Thank you for the fun escape. Oh and your podcast rocks!
Because I tend to dress in neutrals (navy, black, camel, cream, gray) I like that little bit of surprise by adding a touch of color somewhere too-a scarf, a shoe, lipstick, earring. A coral red or petrol blue are my go to colors. Love the post, Jennifer.
Such a visually beautiful post !
Definitely, Red shoes
So beautiful….maybe that’s my new favorite happy color?
In my “sea of black and white” closet, red has ALWAYS been my happy color. There’s just something about it that puts the bloom in my cheeks.
*Your posts are a breath of fresh air, Jennifer. Keep it up!
Jennifer: What do you think of Dr. Deborah Brix’s style? Her beautiful silk scarves must be her “happy color”! She looks so elegant. I think she has what you called “the uniform dressing”. Neutral colored clothes with a colorful scarf.
