Why Not Dress Up for the Holidays

I don’t know about you, but these days I will take any excuse to dress up a bit, which means I plan on going all out for the holidays. Often Thanksgiving is a relatively casual affair at my house, and since we are having a small dinner (one daughter is home, the other not, and most of my family is a plane ride away, which means a no-go for now), it would make sense to continue the casual attitude. Forget it. I’m wearing heels (ok, maybe a kitten version), and a dress, and jewelry, lipstick even. Friday, I might be stuffed and lounging in sweats, but this Thursday, I’m making an effort. You?
