This coming Saturday marks the anniversary of the Women’s March and will be celebrated with marches across the country. (NYC info here–you don’t have to buy tickets, they just want to get an idea of head count. LA info here. There is also a big march in Vegas and other states–just search online.) I wouldn’t miss it for the world and plan on attending with my daughters (one will be doing her part in LA), niece and husband (although he doesn’t know it yet). There are those out there who doubt the passion and turnout will match that of the inaugural event. I hope it shatters last year’s record as the biggest march in history. For those of you who didn’t march last year, I highly recommend it–the collective energy that is generated when people are brought together for a common cause is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It is something you never forget. So grab your girlfriends, husbands, boyfriends, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, make some signs and show up. The one thing we learned from 2017 is everyone’s voice matters; I’m going to use mine. I hope you’ll join me.
