Lately, I have become obsessed with most of what Toteme, a minimalist line created by Elin Kling, offers, and their flair jeans, pictured above, are the latest on my list. The pale wash is perfect for Spring. But if you want them, they are going fast. There are still some sizes available on Toteme’s site, but most have longer inseams (32″ and 34″). On the Ssense site, they have more sizes (including size 27, even though it says sold out because I am sending a pair back), all with a 30″ inseam.
Note: They run a bit small and have no stretch. I am usually a 27, which I could squeeze into but had no breathing room, so I am sizing up to a 28. And I want them an inch shorter. How to avoid losing a perfect jean hem when you have to shorten them? I am going to take them to Denim Therapy, where they can preserve your worn hem by cutting and re-attaching it. If you’re picky like I am, you know losing a good jean hem can ruin the best jeans. It costs about $40, but 100% worth it in my book.
