Save the Date + Meet Me Upstate!

This is going to be fun. On December 10th, designer Heidi Wynne and I are co-hosting a book signing with former editor and author Susan Kaufman for her book, Walk With Me New York at Heidi’s new atelier in Stone Ridge NY. I know Susan back from our editor days and profiled her about her IG account in which she chronicles the history and beauty of her favorite NYC neighborhoods. After her story, she talked of possibly doing a book, et voila. We’ve been trying to organize something but her book keeps selling out (now in its third printing! good troubles to have). With my friend and designer Heidi opening her new boutique upstate in Stone Ridge, we decided to combine forces and give you a chance to grab one of Susan’s books and shop Heidi’s new store at the same time. Heidi has great sweaters–for men and women, cashmere wraps and other goodies not available on her site, which all make great gifts. We hope to see you there! And if you want to make a day of it, may I suggest brunch at either Inness (a bit of a drive) or Hasbrouck House (literally down the block from Heidi) and perhaps a stop at Maple Lawn (also down the road from Heidi) for some antiquing.
