To See: Marina Adams

I love Instagram, not only is it a great source for visual inspiration, but I constantly discover new people, places and things of interest. It is how I found out about artist Marina Adams (on designer Duro Olowu‘s feed; Olowu is married to Thelma Golden, director of the Studio Museum in Harlem—they both have exquisite taste). Adams has a solo show that opens today at Salon 94.  I know little about her work, in fact I would say my contemporary artist knowledge is lacking, but I look forward to seeing it. I love it when something or someone jolts my perspective and sparks my curiosity—it doesn’t happen enough. And those colors!
