Happy first day of Spring! While it doesn’t feel like Spring here in New York (and there is still a foot of snow in my yard), the only way I can think to combat the cold is to start adding some color to my wardrobe. I posted recently on red, white and navy—a favorite warm-weather trio, but sometimes all you need is a singular bright dash to change up your basics. One red item, whether it’s a subtle as lipstick or nail polish, a shoe or bag, or a not subtle at all pair of pants, is an immediate mood lifter. I’m getting my red fix from an Etoile Isabel Marant sweater to replace my gray and black turtlenecks I’ve been living in the past two months.
