Do you have a beach uniform? Mine varies only slightly. It always starts with an oversized shirt (since they get dirty with sunscreen I opt for less expensive men’s versions like this white one from H&M) because they offer significant coverage, a black bathing suit (this Eres bikini is still my favorite), a glint of something gold, K. Jacques sandals, an oversized hat and an inexpensive beach tote like the French market style. If I need a bottom, I bring my vintage Levi’s denim shorts. I might be a creature of habit, but somehow it also never gets old.

I like to wear jewelry to the pool, but not my good jewelry, so I bought some cheap gold hoops and necklaces from H&M and only wear them with my bathing suit. That way, no fear of loss nor do I care if they get sticky with sunscreen.
