Most of the clothing I am wearing now is in shades of white, beige and a bit of black, but I always like to think ahead to late summer and how I like to add a deeper, moodier color palette to what I’m wearing. his What do I want to wear once I’m tired of my “pastels”? Leopard print paired with bronze metallics. In fact, there is a lot of leopard popping up now and especially for fall, so why not get a head start? I love the idea of a bronzey metallic, whether it’s these The Row fisherman sandals or a bag. A little rose gold and a coral gloss to top everything off.

It’s a classic combination. I was in Portland, OR a few weeks ago and saw a woman on the street (on a classic cool, showery OR day) wearing an ivory cowl neck sweater, black slacks, a leopard print wrap tossed around her shoulders, and a bright coral orange beret. She must have been 75yo+ and I just thought, “let me be that chic when I reach that age!”
