Maybe I sound like a broken record, but I’m not sure I can say it enough: Buy less but buy better. That doesn’t mean, however, that everything you own should cost a week’s salary (I certainly hope not). There are certain companies who make things so well, and affordably, they last for years. Enter Uniqlo.
I am a big fan of Uniqlo and still have a year’s-old Jil Sander x Uniqlo pea coat in rotation, plus basics such as their Ultralight down vests/jackets for layering. Designer Christophe Lemaire has been creating gorgeous, modernist collections for the company and the next collection drops tomorrow, January 31st. What am I getting online and hopefully buying tomorrow? The trench, the Blocktech parka, and maybe the hooded sweatshirt (maybe, just maybe, the fun pink color). The saturated color t-shirts and sweaters make for a nice pops of color, and the cotton dresses are always a good idea (even for layering). I haven’t looked at the men’s yet, but sometimes it’s also good to steal from the boys.
I’ve bookmarked this for ordering. I love a lot of the pieces and the men’s v neck cardigan also looks great.
