I have long been drawn to the idea of wearing white boots in fall but have never gotten up the courage to actually buy a pair until this year (I bought the Laurence Dacade pair below). Besides the fact that you need to have a good shoe repair place on hand to keep them clean (for me that’s Leather Spa in NYC), I don’t why I hesitated; white boots go with everything and can be worn year round. Plus if you live somewhere like NYC where the winter is cold and black boots are a requisite, it’s nice to break out of basic until the first slushy snowfall.

now you need the perfect thin sock that will not peep above the boot top , I reccomend Wolford thin cotton sneaker sock in black !
