Since next weekend is the unofficial kick-off for summer and it’s going to be in the sweltering 90s tomorrow in NYC, I thought it was time to get into summer dressing. What will I be wearing this summer? Every shade of beige and white with a hint of black. I find that if you’re a minimalist like me–not hard-core, but fairly allergic to most prints, pastels and ruffles, summer dressing can be hard to navigate. But I think I have found a formula of white pants and jeans along with some khaki linen pieces, that get me excited to get dressed. So….below is a mix of what I personally bought, some other suggestions, and some inspiration (which will show up again on my IG feed in the next month, so get ready for a little repetition). Enjoy!

I’ve never seen that pic of Farrah Fawcett before! It’s wonderful.
Wonderful inspiration, beautiful photos and Iโm with you spring and summer dressing can be challenging. More and more I draw from older photos to help guide my fashion direction.
Perfectly inspirational, Jennifer!
Beautiful list, Jennifer. I love the Flamenco bag for summer but have seen some negative reviews on quality which is quite contrary to the Puzzle bag. Any thoughts on this?
Also, would love to order the Fendi sandals but I am normally a 39 and that size is not available. Any sizing notes? Also on the Toteme blazer?
I have the Flamenco and the quality is fantastic. I was hesitant as well after reading some reviews, but a friend and I both bought one and it’s one of the best bags I’ve ever had.
Hi Melody…late reply here. I have friends, very discerning very picky friends, who have the Flamenco so I trust it is good. I do not have the Fendi shoes so cannot help with sizing and Toteme tends to run a little oversize. Hope this helps!
What kind of bra would one wear with the toteme tank?
Hmmm…I have an old t-shirt bra that adjusts to racer back. That is something I need to research!
So beautiful and yes, summer dressing is very challenging.
I love this list, it speaks to my heart. Thank you for sharing!
