What’s on my radar right now?
- Frances Palmer, the ceramist/photographer whom I’ve profiled before, is having an open studio at her barn in Weston, CT tomorrow, Sunday the 4th from 11-4pm. Her work is as lovely as she is–if you don’t have any plans, I suggest you take a nice Sunday drive (it’s going to be a perfect fall day) and come get acquainted with the artist and her work. I’m going. See you there?
- B-Sides Jeans are having a Spring trunk show on Moda Operandi. I have been wanting a pair of their patchwork jeans for a while now, it might finally be time to order them.
- I can’t wait to watch Julia Roberts in the new Amazon Prime series Homecoming, based on the fictional crime thriller podcast. It’s received strong reviews across the board. Plus, who doesn’t need a bit of an escape these days, even if it’s only for an hour?
- Agmes jewelry. Created by sisters Morgan and Jaclyn Solomon in New York, the line is about “feminine geometry expressed through clean lines and strong silhouettes”. They recently did a collaboration with artist Conie Vallese (pictured here) with abstract figures which I find really appealing. Their bold, reasonably priced earrings are my favorites–I just can’t decide which pair I like most.
