I cannot believe we are deep into fall, Thanksgiving is next week, and holiday vacations are just around the corner. Hence, the reason resort clothes are starting to trickle into the stores. Tonne Goodman, the fashion director at Vogue, always does my favorite resort shoots, because they blend her penchant for minimalist designs with a warmth and sexiness that makes me want go somewhere warm immediately. It certainly helps when you have model Imaam Hamman in Santa Fe (where I just went with my husband and where I was married 24 (!) years ago, to the same man) wearing the clothes.
So far, my favorites pieces online are this white Protagonist dress that you could wear anytime, anywhere, and these two The Row handbags—I like them both so much, I’m not sure which I’d choose. Both, like most The Row bags, are classics. Clean accessories, simple sandals….and a plane ticket to somewhere warm.
sunglasses, $645, Linda Farrow; dress, $900, Protagonist; luggage leather handbag, $2550, The Row; barrette, $78, Sylvain Le Hen; sandal, $590, The Row; bracelet, $660, Hermes; canvas hobo, $990, The Row.
