Layered under a blazer or shirt, or worn solo, a tank top is a warm-weather necessity. Last year I bought black and white ones from Toteme (photo above and in gray below) and rely on them regularly. I also have the Nili Lotan knit version (below), which is looser and also more sheer (I wear mine with a camisole underneath). This summer I bough the Re/Done version in lavender which is a huge departure for me, but know it will be nice with khaki shorts and denim. At this stage of life, I will only wear a tank top around the house – I just feel better if Iβm more covered when I go out. But Iβd layer one under an open button-down with the sleeves rolled up, for sure!
