There is nothing better than a favorite sweater you wear again and again that also gets better with age; the kind that feels cozy and goes with everything. I always rely on crewnecks, because you can layer a button-down shirt or turtleneck underneath, or even a simple tee if you don’t want it to show. What about a pair of corduroys to finish it off? Nothing says fall more to me. Plus an everyday pair of boots, like these from Toteme which I have (and wore yesterday); they are a perfect runaround heel height and I like the modern silhouette.
The Row gray sweater, $890; Acne Studios olive sweater, $390; Re/Done black corduroys, $251; Toteme boots, $630; Tibi sage sweater, $375; Mansur Gavriel mustard sweater, $395; Frame camel corduroys, $215, and belt, $185.

Thank you for this! My sweaters decidedly never look better with age – the exact opposite.

I’ve been collecting The Row’s Sibel crewneck sweaters for a couple of seasons. They are wonderfully soft and the oversized fit is perfect for jeans, skinny trouser or skirt.
