No matter how much jewelry you have, even if you’re a jewelry designer, there are some iconic designs that are still coveted by many (myself included). Vintage 70s pieces from Aldo Cipullo for Cartier, Elsa Peretti and Van Cleef & Arpels have become highly collectible, and this holiday season, Brooke Garber Neidich of Sidney Garber has curated pieces for her jewel-box boutique on Madison Avenue from Mahnaz Ispahani Bartos’s incredible collection of vintage jewels.
“I love wearing my Aldo Cipullo and Elsa Peretti pieces from the 70s,” says Neidich. “They have a sensibility that continues to be relevant and chic . I think others will love pairing these exceptional designs with our jewels as much as I do.” My problem is I can’t quite make up my mind…the Elsa Peretti snake earrings, the Aldo Cipullo for Cartier backgammon or a playing card pendant on a Sidney Garber choker….Santa, are you listening?
