I was going to wait a bit to post this, but then I noticed many boots are already sold out—so, time being of the essence, here is my boot roundup for Fall. Notice a theme? Yes, black is it, but also the two most important styles seem to be a Chelsea boot from classic silhouettes to what I call the Aggressive Chelsea boot (Bottega) and every variation in between, and a knee-high riding boot. The best thing about them? They are practical yet cool, so you should get a lot of use out of whatever you choose. Don’t be afraid to pair any of these with a dress or a skirt; a pair of boots feels like the modern way to ground something feminine. Here, I’ve included a few price points and some of my favorites are the least expensive; I have the Dr. Marten’s boot, which is not only affordable (and the original many of these get their design inspo from) it is also the vegan version which you can wear in any weather (also love the accent yellow stitching). Because many of these are close to sold out there are two options, Google search your favorite pair for another retailer and/or constantly watch what’s sold out—there are always returns.

I just purchased a pair of Chelsea boots yesterday (perfect timing, apparently 😉 ) from Madewell. https://www.madewell.com/the-ivy-chelsea-boot-in-leather-MA426.html?color=BK5229#q=Chelsea%2Bboots&lang=default&context=women&start=2
I can’t wait to wear Fall sweaters again with my new boots!
