I love a really good, cozy sweater and look forward to pulling out my favorites every year so here are a few of my favorites this season. One new (not new) shape that I’m considering is a polo sweater, because it is a pulled-together stand in for a blouse, worn solo or under a blazer or coat. A good cardigan is always worth it, because it really goes with everything–I plan to wear my CO one I bought last year with leather pants and camisoles as well as slip dresses and boots. And a classic crewneck and snuggly turtleneck are obvious always staples.

Love all of these choices. I purchased the CO cardigan. It is gorgeous – a heavy weight cashmere that is so cozy. Lauren Manoogian has some of the best cozy sweaters.
I really love your style and have enjoyed following your posts for the past several months along with the wardrobe project, but this list is $$$! I understand the concept of investing in forever pieces, but wish your list had contained a few under $250.

I bought the Khaite polo sweater during the net-a-porter 75% off sale and it is the most versatile piece! The drape is super sexy – like a blouse! Seriously tempted to invest in a few more colors!! And I did buy that CO cardigan (sadly before it went on sale) but have worn it with everything! I find it difficult, but crucial to find knits that are soft against my skin so always on the lookout!
I’ve been noticing (and loving!) polo sweaters everywhere this season! I just ordered a cashmere one in a lovely shade of red from Everlane and I’m hoping for the best since they can be hit or miss.
