You are probably wondering why on earth I haven’t posted yet about the sales happening, because who doesn’t like to save money?! My answer is two-fold: 1) I had such horrible internet service at the apartment in Paris I rented it wasn’t possible, but then, and more importantly, 2) the really good stuff isn’t on sale yet. In fact, the majority of what is on sale are designs that I frankly think shouldn’t have been produced in the first place.
My sale strategy and how it fits into my better, fewer things ethos is this–only buy things you wanted before but couldn’t afford or justify, or find one or two items that feel like special splurges that you know will make you happy when you put them on. Just because something is on sale, doesn’t mean you need it. I am going imagine you, like me, have fallen victim to impulse buying because of a price tag or it’s a piece your favorite designer, so, of course, it must be good. With that in mind, here are a few things I found that seem worth it. There will be better pieces coming up soon. (And things that are less expensive.) Now, that I am back home I will keep you posted as I find them.
The Row pants, $560; Allude sweater, $444; The Row vest, $525; The Row blazer, $1775; Gianvito Rossi pumps, $447; Sophie Buhai ring, $367.
