Those shoes

This outfit on model Aymeline Valade at the Dior show in Paris is my favorite street style photo thus far. A simple pair of tailored flat front trousers, a crisp white shirt, a well-cut jacket and a chignon make for a sophisticated look. But it is the shoes–a frothy dollop of femininity mixed into a fairly masculine ensemble—that finish the look.

Manolo Blahnik might make the best rhinestone buckle shoes (the shoes below, left and right), and they come in a myriad of shapes and colors. The cobalt Roger Vivier shoes (center) are equally spectacular. I would pair them with jeans and a cashmere sweater.
