For years I have used powder blushes, bronzers and finishing powders. I tried cream products a couple of times but found they faded quickly. Plus the older I got the more convinced I was that a dewy finish would age me. Then I tried, R.M.S., a certified organic line of beauty products created by makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift. Now my makeup routine (besides my tinted moisturizer from Nars) revolves around 4 little pots. Because they have coconut oil (and others such as jojoba, cacao and sunflower seed), they have a lightweight texture, the color lasts, and they have an almost no-makeup makeup quality about them. If you use a light touch, the products give you almost a natural glow. Even when you use a heavier application the colors never crease in the skin or fade funny. I’m hooked. My favorites?
Illusive Lip2Cheek which I use every day as a blush, Buriti Bronzer which I will overlay with Illusive, use in place of it, or on the eye lids, Bloom Lip Shine for a barely there basic, and Magnetic Eye Polish at night. The one thing I haven’t bought is their “cult” product Living Luminizer that you use as a highlighter around your face. I thought highlighting was for twenty-year-olds, but I have a feeling I’ll be proven wrong once I try it.
