Spain-based stylist Barbara Martelo is someone I often look to for style inspiration (she has a large Instagram following; I am not the only one) and this latest post from her in cropped, flared jeans and classic Manolos (I can’t confirm but they are her shoe of choice) is a fresh way to update your jean wardrobe. Because let’s face it, these days if you are filling your wardrobe with classic pieces (the best way to #buylessbuybetter), your jean silhouette is often the only tweak you need. If a flare isn’t your thing, I am still a fan of a classic crop, with heels of a height that make sense for you. (Plus some are on sale so….)

I am usually a size 27/28 in jeans and I wear a 28 in Toteme. I did have a size 27 pair last fall but COVID + menopause have taken their toll =:(
