I love it when a small tweak makes a difference. Before Christmas I went to the Glossier showroom in downtown NYC to pick up some gifts for my beauty obsessed younger daughter. (Trying to be the cool mom.) I bought her perfume (it’s quite nice) and lip balms and for myself, Boy Brow in brown, because I had seen it covered so many places. Plus at $16, I thought why not? I am a relatively lazy makeup-wise, but on occasion (usually when I go out at night) I like to fill in my brows a bit—mostly from the center of my eye out. But it feels too fake for daylight.
I know use Boy Brow almost every day as part of my makeup routine, because if you use it sparingly (like I do) it gives you a subtle darkening of your brow…more definition without all those drawn on lines that look like something your great grandmother who plucked her eyebrows to extinction would do. And it is not sticky. I thought I was too old for this Millennial-targeted brand. Turns out the boy brow is just plain modern. Of course, I still don’t understand the clear version…why not just use an eyebrow brush?
