If you haven’t tried Biologique Recherche’s cult lotion, P50, you could be missing out on an important part of your skincare regime. P50 is what I consider a toner, to use after you cleanse your skin and before your moisturizer. It is meant to balance of pH levels in your skin. It stinks and it stings, until your skin has reached it’s balance, which is when it subsides. There are many types of P50 and the 1970 version is the strongest (why is not clear). While the regular version smelled of onions to me, this one is more akin to calamine lotion. I have been using the new version less than a week and am hooked. People swear it clears up acne, diminishes brown spots and melasma. It is not expensive and one bottle lasts months–if you haven’t tried it, what are you waiting for?
