Shirin Von Wulffen, founder of Bastide, posted this photo of herself yesterday, commenting how now that her kids were a bit older, she could finally dress in nicer clothes when she traveled because she didn’t have to worry about spills, stains and all the glorious incidents of motherhood. Her outfit is so effortless but so pulled together–exactly what I’m into. I also have those elements…the longer, slightly flared high-waisted jeans (mine are Nili Lotan from last spring), a button-down, a trench (though not leather, which I checked and you can no longer get). You cannot purchase the innate glamour Shirin possesses, but anyone can look equally chic.

A wonderful look and easy to create. Itβs still chilly here in Virginia so I would need another over layer, any suggestions?
What about a cashmere sweater instead of the button down or a long wool coat instead of the trench?
Yes, great options. I just purchased a cropped sweater/blazer (Iβm 5β4 so it wonβt be so cropped). Our house and the room I teach in are always chilly so my first thought is how will I keep warm?
Wow she always looks so fabulous
