One of my favorite Instagram accounts I follow is that of Tracee Ellis Ross. I have never met her (she is at the top of my interview wish list), but she seems to wear life lightly, but take her glamour seriously. She has major style cred (something her fearless mother/diva Diana Ross probably has a little to do with) and I love her exuberance when it comes to embracing color and a little fashion madness. Plus she is sexy and womanly—attributes severely under-represented in older American woman. (Americans tend to act as if women are suddenly unsexy once they hit 35. Don’t get me started.) Her TV show Black-ish is currently nominated for 3 Emmys and I applaud the shows ability to embrace complicated topics with both seriousness and a sense of humor. The world could use more women like Tracee.
