I don’t like to write negative things on TFI, who needs it, but I will admit I was never that much into Jennifer Anniston. At least not when I was young (and she was too, at 54 she is a year younger than I). But we are definitely products of the 90s and I appreciate her consistent minimalist, no-fuss taste. I did like the first season the The Morning Show–loved her character, loved her clothes, but I’m bad with TV and didn’t watch the second season. Then on one of my recent flights back from CA, I watched the first three episodes, which I thoroughly enjoyed and am now finishing the rest.
I’m excited there is a 3rd season, and got a kick out of this frank interview she did for the WSJ. Mag Fall Fashion issue (thank you departing EIC Kristina O’Neill). JA embraces the same attitude that I found when I turned 50….that I no longer give a flying you-know-what about what people think of me and I have little patience for BS. It’s liberating. I also think that attitude shows through in all the women on the show including Reese Witherspoon and Julianna Margulies. It’s nice to feel represented. Plus, I can’t wait for another season of TMS wardrobe highlights. Maybe more on that later.
