I never thought I would put Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in one of my posts…and wait for it…there is Kendall Jenner too, alongside my favorite icons such as Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and Kate Hepburn, but it is absolute proof that the combo of a white button-down shirt and khakis (and vice versa–khaki shirt, white pants) works on anyone and everyone. Of course, you have to like tailoring, but I do think you can even dress it up a bit like these young ladies have done so well–with heels, a belt and tank top so the shirt becomes a top layer, and some simple hoops, and you’ve got a fairly fresh looking combo. Thank you for the inspiration and price points for all of us. I love khaki and white. With white next to my face as I’m a very cool toned person. What’s wanted is a white shirt that fits like CBK’s does. It’s not too long, too short, undersized or oversized. I know they can be tailored but I live n a very small town and that isn’t always an option.
