Yesterday on Instagram, I posted a series of photos of some of my favorite women wearing shades of pink. I am not normally a pastel person, but am currently craving some beauty and some mood-lifting color. It’s not surprising. As a fashion writer, I know that in times of crisis, women have always turned to color. For example, sales of lipstick tend to go up (also because it is a less expensive way of getting a boost). With all of that, here are a few things to brighten your day. Note: Araks has lingerie in every color under the rainbow. And, I know it might be hard to imagine how to buy an Hermes lipstick without trying it on, but then again, when do we honestly think we’ll be able to swipe a lipstick sample on our wrist again?
Cotton Citizen tie-dye T-shirt, $90; Hermes Poppy Lip Shine, $67; JinSoon Polish in Pop Orange, $18; Xirena Channing shirt, $166; Araks bra, $135, Kule Thank You tote, $188.

I was thinking yesterday that lipstick and mask-wearing are not a thing. I have three new “fashion” masks on order at the moment and anytime I go out now it is with a mask.
It is possible that when I return to a classroom it will be with a mask.
I’m not giving up on lipstick, but clear balm is certainly the order of the day…
On the other hand, COLOR on the toe nails is very much a necessary right now!
