I have known Cayli for years and she was one of my earlier interviews for TFI. What are you wearing often? Sweatshirts from The Great.
What are you wearing too often? My Lululemon Align leggings.
Your go-to video conference outfit: It’s come as you are around here, but if I want to look tidy a high-waisted pant does wonders.
Favorite place at home to sit and work: I like to sit by the fire in my family room because it is adjacent to my kitchen…my other job. To be honest when I am WORKING I am standing in my garage filling orders because all of my stores are closed.
Latest read: I just read the sweetest children’s book called Frederick by Leo Lionni.
Online rabbit hole: Food 52, I want to outfit my entire kitchen now that its my 2nd home.
New Insta discovery: I am OBSESSED with Jeny Howorth who is an old and dear friend who lives in the UK and chronicles her life.
Daily ritual you practice: I remain diligent with my face routine.
Daily ritual you’ve abandoned: I don’t dry my hair.
New skill you’ve mastered: Shipping beauty products to the far reaches of the world.
Old skill you’ve put back in use: I am a fantastic laundress and am great with an iron.
Mood booster: A walk outside in the sunshine.
Favorite hour of the day and why: When I wake up and have my coffee in bed with my husband.
Something you love to do that you can share with others: I love to talk about and educate people on skin!
How are you looking at your business differently? I want to be as consistent and as accountable as possible for all of our clients during this uncertain time. Our business model hasn’t changed all that much.
What do you miss most? My dad.
Where will you go on your first post-pandemic trip? Depends on when traveling becomes safe. If it’s before or during the Summer I will go to our house in Sag Harbor for the Summer. Any later and I will be heading to St Barths or Japan depending upon the season.
What do you hope the new normal brings? Kindness, generosity, deeper connection, and a greener planet.
