I love the idea of a brilliant green top with jeans for Spring. But the right green top is not as easy to find as you would think—a saturated brilliant green is best. I have my eye on the Demylee knit top—I love its simplicity. The Elder Statesman sweater is have forever green piece, while the Kule striped shirt is perfect antidote to those not ready to take a full-on emerald plunge. Then there are accessories, from fun earrings to one rather fine emerald. The images from the new Vogue Paris jewelry story are fantastically over-the-top (diamonds, emeralds and denim? why not.) I even like the idea of head-to-toe green and think Anouk Aimee’s 1950s spruce and pea green ensemble with nude ballet flats still looks modern.
