If you are lucky enough to have someone special who wants to treat you really well this holiday (perhaps you feel like treating yourself) my suggestion is a piece (or two or three) of fine jewelry from Sidney Garber, Repossi, or Spinelli Kilcollin. Why those jewelers in particular? Because they are responsible for creating today’s modern classics. If you’re going to splurge, and splurge big, it should be on something that will stand the test of time and you can wear day in and day out. I love many designs from Brooke Garber Neidich’s Sidney Garber collection, my favorites include her rolling bracelets and dome cuffs (shown here), her snake lariat necklace and plume earrings. Repossi’s rings are divine as are Spinelli Kilcollin’s, which at first seemed novel, but are so well thought out (you can wear one ring on multiple fingers, or piled up on one) and beautiful they have proven their merit. If I had to chose one piece from this page I could not—they are all on my “Am Willing to Wait” wish list.
Sidney Garber dome cuffs, from $10,100, Snake Lariat, $11,900, and Plume earrings, $6500; Repossi Technical Berbère ring (top right), $6400, and Antifer diamond ring (bottom right), $13,000; Spinelli Kilcollin Vega diamond, silver and gold ring (bottom left) $6300 and Aurora diamond, pink sapphire and ruby ring, $4950.
