The fact that the Northeast is about to have a major cold snap coupled with my current situation, which is knee-deep in moving and spending every free minute packing and purging, has me dreaming of curling up in some comfy pajamas with a glass of wine and a good book. Why pajamas? Because they can work double duty. Why not a silk pajama top with jeans and heels for dinner? Or bottoms with sneakers and a sweater? Or the set with slides and diamonds for drinks?

I fell in love with those same striped Olivia Von Halle pajamas when I saw them at Neiman’s about a year ago. I just couldn’t justify the expense so I bought a pair of Sleepy Jones. I had a not so pleasant experience with SJ…they sent the wrong item twice! I still think of those OVH pajamas though.
