Because January is a time to rethink and reenergize everything, I especially like the latest story on NAP’s online zine starring model Nora Attal. The photos and accompanying story are focused on the core modern accessories that help define an outfit now, but I am equally drawn to the clothes, which are simple but not basic. I admit that because I favor minimalist designs, I sometimes get drawn to pieces that border on boring, but there are so many new ways to dress clean and cool and plenty of small tweaks (a very long shirt, a major cuff on a jean, layering tops) that can immediately update what you’re wearing. It’s good to get out of one’s comfort zone on occasion, and this is some inspiration.
Simple isn’t boring to me because I can imprint my own personality with accessories. Gorgeous bag in the first pic!
