The rainy season has started in the Northeast, which means you need reliable pieces that keep you dry and still somewhat cozy as the weather isn’t as warm as you’d like it to be. This is my ideal weekend rain outfit. I have everything a version of everything except the Barbour Wellies (my friend Heidi Wynne was wearing the other weekend and now am wondering if I need them). I do have these Aigle rubber riding boots, which I also love. A narrow pair of jeans to tuck into your boots, a tank top under layer (white tank tops are a “trend” this season, which is just ridiculous, but that’s fashion for you), a fitted sweater and a red lip to brighten a dreary day. Oh, and a “ultimate” nylon carryall from The Row; now and then you need a wishlist item.

That’s pretty much my go to for rainy weather. I have black rubber Michael Kors riding style rain boots. Love them. I wear them whether it’s raining or not.????☔️
