I love this picture from artist Ed Ruscha’s book, Hard Light, published in 1978 that I found on Laura Stoloff’s Instagram. I miss this kind of simplicity, the hair pulled back in a barrette, a simple button-down and diamond studs, heavy on the mascara. This makes me want to grow out my hair (which is happening anyway). Feeling like we all have these elements somewhere in our wardrobes; sometimes it just takes a fresh eye to realize how beautiful something so simple can be. I love this too. And I have recently discovered Xirena and have purchased several dresses, shirts and a pair of drawstring pants. They are all great quality and my new go-to for travel.
