I am heading out today for a brief but very exciting trip to CA today to see my sister and my new nephew, Max Henry, who came into the world yesterday. I can’t imagine a better Christmas present! I’ve been keeping this image of Ashley Olsen (I think? could be Mary Kate) on my desktop for quite a while, because I love her travel outfit of luxe materials–leather, silk, cashmere–a combination that only works when the temperature drops a little but not too much (hence sandals).
I am not sure it’s cool enough to wear leather pants where I’m going in CA right now, but I still might try. I bought the Nili Lotan pants shown here (and now on sale) and have worn them on repeat this fall, they have been a #worthit investment.
