I hope everyone survived a tumultuous week and is enjoying the long weekend. I am off for vacation for this first unofficial week of fall, so am leaving you with a little inspiration from a while back that still resonates with me. This shoot of Claudia Schiffer from Vogue Paris (September 2018) reminds me how much I am looking forward to getting back into worn-in jeans, cozy sweaters, plaid shirts and boots (not that I will look anything close to how Claudia does in these photos). I do have many of these items in my closet, so it’s really a matter of pulling them out and perhaps mixing them up in a different manner. Plus I’m “borrowing” my daughter’s cowboy boots this week, but still am on the search for a pair of my own.
Leddy’s in Texas are the best cowboy boots.
Whether you are prepared to purchase something from a business in that state in light of current events is entirely another matter.
Save your politics and get outside in the sun.
