You can say that how a woman in the White House dresses shouldn’t matter; I agree to some point, but on the other hand clothes can send powerful messages like Kamala Harris’s choice to wear a white pantsuit from Carolina Herrera for her acceptance speech. (White is a color associated with women from the Suffragette movement.) Personally I always love a blazer and a neck tie blouse. I didn’t include any pants here, because honestly, I’d choose a pair of jeans. I also have a thing for gray pearls and am lucky enough to own a beautiful necklace that I’ve had for years. I don’t ever wear it, but now I’m inspired. And that last photo of Kamala and her nieces is just ridiculous. Makes me so happy.

Love everything about her, including her clothing choices. She wears her clothes, they don’t “wear” her. And that photo with her nieces is beyond!

My favorite thing about the last photo is the white chunky boots + lace dress combo on the girls. INSPIRED fashion choice!

I am overjoyed to have Kamala Harris as VP! I think you’re right, Jennifer: It shouldn’t matter what the VP wears…but it will!
