Last week, these two photos of Marie Von Behrens-Felipe (left) and stylist Karla Welch (right–who was featured in FT’s How to Spend It) caught my eye because they were both wearing white jeans, a clothing item that has been on my mind of late. They are both wearing the new(ish) The Row super baggy white jeans (currently trending, obviously, and thus sold out), which are a bit too much jean for me, but it sent me searching for an alternative pair. The version from AGolde below look promising. I’ve also included a more classic style from The Row, though I have never myself bought a pair of designer jeans. Add a basic Uniqlo white tee, and then either go luxe–a thick The Row cashmere sweater and Khaite mules, or easy and casual–a Uniqlo sweatshirt (where I buy my gray ones) and more casual sandals or boots. It seems like a perfect formula all year round.

I bought the Row very wide ones..had to have them. Sent them off last week to The Real, unworn. Too much jean for me too, and I KNEW when I kept them. Did you see the AGolde mid-rise? Might be good too?

I bought Ann Mashburn’s white jeans last summer and have loved them.

I bought a pair of jcrew boyfriends on sale, in a size or 2 bigger than I would normal wear and had the waist tailored. Especially for white jeans, it was totally the way to go.

I love uniform dressing! It’s one less thing to have to think about in the morning and I feel confident in my choices.
