It feels super early to post a summery poplin shirt dress, but it could be gone long before any of us on the East Coast (at least) can wear it. That said, a shirtdress with a belt and sandals is just right when it’s warm, but if you can’t wait for that much of a thaw, there is always the option of layering. Perhaps leggings underneath and a trench on top. Since I don’t love super oversized and the sleeves look roomy I’m thinking of sizing down.
COS poplin dress, $135; Toteme zip cuff leggings, $200, and trench coat $950; A Emery for Matteau black sandals, $150; Jil Sander Tote, $1290; Cartier Panthere watch, $21,700.
Love this. So chic. Great transitional look.
Love the overall look. Who makes the trench?
Whoops! Toteme. Added link and in fact I have this trench (bought it 3 or 4 years ago); it’s a great piece!
???? thank you!
Loose fitting Cos dresses are enormous! I have a kaftan style from last year and although I’m a probably a size 4 on a good day I had to get it in the XS and it is still very roomy and wafty, definitely go down a size or two.
