No matter what your mood, art can uplift. Mark Rothko’s exhibit, Dark Palette that recently opened at the Pace Gallery, is on my to do list for that reason. Rothko’s use of color is sublime, rich and emotional. These works feel moody and pensive–something I can relate to right now.
On a lighter note, I’ve chosen some objects below that fit Rothko’s autumnal color palette. Some are have-forever investments–all make great gifts. Thinking about what you can give others this season feels good right now.
