I am all about weekday (and weekend) uniforms and you can never go wrong with throwing a striped tee or sweater on under a black blazer, jeans and boots. It’s a look that, depending upon how you choose to accessorize it, is a bit Parisian, a bit rock’n’roll, and definitely timeless. I like it with a swipe of red lipstick, or atypical accessories such as turquoise cuffs and rings. Switch the boots to ballet shoes and it becomes gamine. Plus, these are all wardrobe essentials; you might already have them in your closet, or just need to update one or two items.

This is why I can pack for 10 days in Europe and not check ! I have worn that Khaite top on repeat first over an ivory Row long slip dress and now over a black one .
